Once upon a time, an aspiring author was informed that he should really write down his motivations for writing. “Put together something that details your inspirational journey! Your motivations, your beginnings, and your triumphs!” was the advice, specifically.
“WHAT journey?” the writer demanded. “I write because it’s fun, I began because I was bored, and my biggest struggle was accidentally wiping my computer when I tried to reprogram it to look like the inside of a certain superhero’s helmet!” He paused and thought for a moment. “Although, I did learn that the importance of backups is not to be underestimated.”
I hope you’re not looking for inspiration, dear reader; because if you are, this is DEFINITELY the wrong place to be. If you’re looking for a good book…well, I’ll let you be the judge of that.
My grandiose plan for this site is to have a spot to: post updates on projects, get feedback on how I’m doing and what direction everyone thinks I should be going, receive critiques on my cover art (never claimed to be an artist, people!), and occasionally write a mild-to-moderately random short story on life, liberty, and the pursuit of new material. Hey, they say to write what you know, so if you ever see me parkouring off a twelve-story building onto a crane…well, I’m either researching the possibility of doing that particular stunt or determining the injuries resulting from attempting said stunt.
